Job Description

About CACEIS

Credit Agricole CACEIS is the asset servicing arm of Crédit Agricole Group, one of Europe's largest banking institutions. With $6.5 trillion in assets under custody and $4 trillion under administration , CACEIS is a leading consolidator in the European asset servicing market. Since establishing its North American presence in 2012, CACEIS has grown to serve over 100 clients across the region, supported by a dedicated local team and an operational centre of excellence in Canada. Our North American mission is clear: to be the vital link between our global servicing platform and North American asset managers seeking access to European markets and beyond.

Role Summary

This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role at the heart of CACEIS's North American growth strategy. As a Business Development officer, you will drive new client origination and strategic account expansion, connecting North American asset managers with CACEIS's world-class fund and asset servicing capabilities. You will own the full commercial cycle — from pipeline creation to deal closing — while serving as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex cross-border investment structures.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Pipeline Management

  • Build and manage a robust new business pipeline through disciplined prospect origination, market analysis, and opportunity qualification aligned with firm revenue targets and strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate market dynamics, deal requirements, and client financials to identify and pursue high-value growth opportunities.
  • Cultivate deep, multi-level relationships at executive, management, and operational levels across client and prospect organizations.
  • Leverage CACEIS's enterprise network and your own established industry contacts to generate new business and cross-sell opportunities across the full product suite.

Solution & Design

  • Combine deep industry, product, and regulatory knowledge to deliver tailored, value-added solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, operations, legal, compliance, risk, and pricing teams to design innovative, bespoke solutions that address client-specific needs.

Deal Management

  • Own the full deal lifecycle from origination through closing.
  • Execute client and prospect engagement strategies that align with CACEIS's service offerings.

Market & Product Expertise

  • Maintain a sophisticated, current understanding of the global fund management industry, with particular focus on European fund structures and regulations (UCITS, AIFMD, Luxembourg, Ireland).
  • Stay ahead of technological and data-driven developments shaping the asset servicing landscape, including digital assets, data solutions and AI.

Brand & Market Presence

  • Represent CACEIS at industry conferences, trade associations, and professional bodies to strengthen brand visibility and thought leadership across North America.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 4-8 years of business development or institutional sales experience, with a demonstrable track record of pipeline building and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven success selling to asset managers, institutional investors, or financial institutions.
  • Strong product knowledge across core investment management services: custody, fund administration, transfer agency, middle office, FX, securities lending, cash management, data solutions and digital assets.
  • Exposure to international investment fund structures, particularly UCITS and AIFMD, is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Network within the North American asset management industry.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, cross-functional, and international environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, diligent, naturally driven to excel, negotiation skills, and executive presence.
  • Collaborative mindset with clear values, humility, and a team-first orientation — essential to operating effectively within CACEIS's global culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; CFA and/or CAIA designation is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
