Go Ride Driver PositionGo Ride is seeking dependable, compassionate, and flexible drivers to provide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services in the Northshore area.We are currently looking for individuals with open availability Sunday through Saturday who are able to work varying shifts based on transportation needs. This position is a great fit for someone who is flexible, reliable, and comfortable with a schedule that may include early mornings, daytime, evenings, nights, and weekends.Job ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company-provided vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vehiclesTransport passengers to and from medical appointments and other approved destinationsAssist passengers with safely entering and exiting vehiclesProperly secure passengers, wheelchairs, and other mobility devicesFollow assigned routes, trips, and dispatch instructionsCommunicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, schedule changes, or passenger concernsProvide courteous, patient, and professional customer serviceMaintain vehicle cleanliness and complete required inspectionsComplete required trip documentation and other assigned recordsFollow all company safety, attendance, and transportation policiesRequirementsMust be at least 23 years of ageValid driver's license and required Louisiana Chauffeur's/Class D license or qualifying CDLAt least one year of driving experienceAcceptable driving recordMust successfully complete required criminal background check and drug screeningMust be willing to learn to operate wheelchair lifts and properly secure mobility devicesMust complete required NEMT, CPR, wheelchair, and safety trainingDependable attendance and punctuality are essentialMust be comfortable driving during various times of the day and nightKnowledge of Northshore and surrounding areas is preferredPrevious NEMT, transportation, healthcare, caregiving, or customer service experience is a plus but not requiredSchedule & AvailabilityWork schedules may vary based on operational and passenger transportation needs and may include early mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends.Applicants with limited availability may not meet the scheduling needs of this particular position.Benefits & IncentivesCompetitive pay of up to $15.00 per hourPaid trainingHealth, dental, and vision insurance options for eligible employeesPaid time off for eligible employeesSafe-driving incentive opportunitiesAdditional earning opportunities based on company incentive programsGo Ride is looking for drivers who understand that reliability matters.
